National History

On October 1st, 1998, Delta Epsilon Psi was founded nationally at the University of Texas at Austin by 18 founding fathers that were determined to unite South Asian men across the nation through the three pillars of our fraternity; Brotherhood, Discipline, and Commitment. Through the instillment of these three pillars, our founders hoped to unite young men from all walks of life, serve the community, and give the South Asian population a voice that was missing. Our goal as brothers within this fraternity is to prosper as both a service and socially oriented organization.

To this end we hold several signature service events across the country that benefit our primary and secondary philanthropies, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and Be the Match: Bone Marrow Drive. In addition, we host widely popular social events that spread our South Asian culture while also building bonds within our own brothers. Since its inception, Delta Epsilon Psi has expanded to over 33 colonies and chapters and upwards of 1,000 brothers strong, and continues to grow exponentially.
